It was not a decision taken lightly and it had to discussed with other stakeholders. But yes, of course you are right - we could have made this process faster and I apologize that it did not happen sooner. There is no excuse for that.
We did check this forum regularly. As I am using another 'InnoGames' admin account, you might not have seen activity on this forum account though. But you are right, we could have had reacted more.
It is completely fine if you think like that from your perspective. As GPC is one of many tasks on my desk and you do not know what I am doing in the meantime, it might feel like nothing is being done. But thank you for sharing your point of view. Especially, for doing it in such a constructive manner. Unfortunately not all comments that can be found on beta forum are so nice as yours.
I am there for the community, not only here but also in many other ways.

This forum was the direct way to contact some members from the community, but was never the only way how we, as InnoGames talks to out players. We have Community Managers on all Grepolis language versions and they do forward feedback to us all the time. At least once a week I get reports from every language version.
We are always thinking how to improve and find new ways to gather feedback. We will continue to do so in the future.
Thank you for the smart suggestions. The main issue is though - more structured work would also probably require more time and I honestly believe it was the main issue on my side. But who knows, maybe in the future we will limit our focus on other projects and will have time again to retry GPC approach.
We are always still filtering suggestions and thinking what is best for Grepolis as a whole project, not only for a specific group of players. That also means we might make a decision, which will not be liked by players at first, but still makes sense if you take into account the bigger picture - future of Grepolis.
When it comes to monitoring wishes and feedback - I get weekly updates from all the language versions, so if players are active on their forums and social media, I will definitely hear their opinions.
We are closely watching and analyzing how Domination worlds are evolving and the numbers we can see indicate that Domination worlds are doing better then we expected.

But as always - any improvements ideas are very much welcomed. For example - with the upcoming version we will make the valid Domination area smaller, so worlds on which Domination will start in the future, will have less valid islands. This should make them more interesting and competitive.
That kind of posts are one of the reasons why it is not easy to work on a project like GPC. It is hurtful to hear harsh words like that. Please consider that in the future when giving feedback to anyone. It is very easy to forget that there is a human being sitting on the other side of the screen and they have feelings, so please consider that when posting anything on the internet. Threats are never a good answer nor a way to make people listen to you.
As I mentioned in my first post - we did get some great input from you guys and we are very thankful for it. But at the end we had to consider how much effort is needed to make it work and how big is the benefit of this specific form of communication.
Again - thank you for your time as GPC. I hope you will still be active members of our community and will continue to provide feedback on our various channels.
